I CAUGHT SOME BEADS FROM STEVEN SEAGAL

I CAUGHT SOME BEADS FROM STEVEN SEAGAL

I went to a party; there were music and plenty of people to meet.
There was food and there was drink, the party was out in the street.
There was dancing, booty bumping, and some stepping like at a grand ball.
I did some jumping and yelling, and I caught some beads from Steven Seagal.

I went to a party that the world was invited to that can get kinda raw.
The party is by word of mouth, everyone knows about this party called Mardi Gras.
You can come with a group or come alone, just make sure you get there, that's all.
I came with someone to kiss and hold and I caught some beads from Steven Seagal.

There was royalty passing on majestic floats.
They even stopped and the king made a toast.
To see the king I had to stand tall.
And I caught some beads from Steven Seagal.

The music that kept passing by really was grand.
There was music from here and there all across the land.
As the debutantes were passing twirling their batons, I was hoping it would stall.
But it kept on moving, and I caught some beads from Steven Seagal.

There is people cooking food all around that is anything but tame.
This food would make tailgating look really lame.
You can find Mardi Gras on a street off to the side or even by a mall.
With a beer in one hand and my girl in the other, I caught some beads from Steven Seagal.

Barnum and Baily's has nothing on a show like this.
Pretty girls everywhere and some you can hug and some you can kiss.
I ran alongside the float trying my best not to fall.
I jumped up with my arms high and caught some beads from Steven Seagal.

There are movie villains and comic book heroes in the floats and on the ground.
There are legends of sport and clowns that smile and clowns that frown.
I saw a pirate ship looking for booty and a fishing boat that trawls.
I saw a movie star in a cowboy hat and that's not all, I caught some beads from Steven Seagal.

The music had passed and the floats were all gone as all good things come to an end.
The parade was over but on another day there'll be another parade to go to again.
It's been a long day and I'm going home even if I have to crawl.
If I don't keep anything else, I'm holding on to the beads I caught from Steven Seagal.

ON THIS VALENTINES DAY

ON THIS VALENTINE’S DAY

On this Valentine’s Day you give me hope when darkness devours the light.
You give me strength, when all is lost, to stand up and fight.
You give me the will to understand the things that are in sight.
You give me a hug so I will know everything is alright.

You give me your touch when I'm feeling down.
You give me your time when I need you around.
You give me a look that makes my heart shine.
You give me a kiss that lets me know you're mine

You give me the words that make my life rhyme.
You give me the songs that make the bells chime.
You give me peace when things go awry.
You give me answers when my mind asks why.

You give me the might to battle the demons that want to possess my soul.
You give me the power to stop my enemies from reaching their goal.
You give me comfort for the times that I bleed.
You give me understanding for the things that I read.

You give me a friend when I'm really in need.
You give me a smile for every little deed.
You give me peace of mind when things get a little crazy.
You give me will power when I get a little lazy.

You give me a place when I need to rest my bones.
You give me space when I need to be alone.
You give me food when I need to eat.
You give me solid ground when I need a place to put my feet.

You give me tenderness when the world gets a little rough.
You give me a shoulder when crying just ain't enough.
You give me your beauty just to brighten up my day.
You give me inspiration for the words I need to say.

You give me faith when I have nothing to believe.
You give me gifts when I have nothing to receive.
For all the things you give me, I should give you the world I suppose.
But on this Valentine’s Day all I can give you are me and this single red rose.
