THERE ARE THOSE

There are those that are always on the run.

Some people always seem to be under the gun.

There are those that are always moving fast.

Some people set a path that they know can never last.

There are those that always have to be on top.

They make a deal with the devil and never stop.

There are those that always have to be right.

If you disagree, they will surely fight.

There are those that always have to take command.

For you to follow is what they demand.

There are those that will draw a line in the sand.

If you cross, they will surely take a stand.

There are those that are always sad.

Bringing you down is what will make them glad.

There are those that are always mad

If you get in their way, they will treat you bad.

There are those that will hold you tight.

But will they save you from your fright.

There are those that will gaze into your eyes.

But will they be there to watch the sun rise.

There are those that will whisper sweet nothings in your ear.

But when you cry, will they be there to wipe away your tears.

There are those that will move the hair from your face.

But are they just there for the chase.

There are those that will tell you what you want to hear.

But will they mean it when they call you dear.

There are those that will profess their love.

But will they give you the stars up above.

There are those that will hide behind a disguise.

So how can you tell the truth from lies.

There are those that will make you smile.

But to make you happy would they walk a mile.
