I want to be your body guard that keeps you from harm.

When you feel any danger, just take me by my arm.

I want to be your lover that keeps you satisfied.

When you need to get there, I want to take you for a ride.

I want to be your friend that you tell your secrets to.

When you need a shoulder, I will always be there for you.

I want to be your guide for your journey through each day

If you get lost, I will to help you find your way.

I want to be your teacher and share all the things I’ve learned.

When you need an answer they’ll be no need for concern.

I want to be your student so you can teach me what you know.

If I had your knowledge, my mind would surely grow.

I want to be your clown because I never want to see you frown.

I know if I can make you laugh, I can turn your day around.

I want to be your man so I can make you realize

That all I want to see is the smile in your eyes.

I want to be your soldier to protect you from your foe.

When you have a battle I will be ready to go.

I want to be your superhero and save you from an evil villain.

To find all your demons I would start an inquisition.

I want to be your troubadour that showers you with song.

I will tell a tale of lovers that found a place to belong.

I want to be your poet so I can fill your life with rhyme.

With every word and every verse, I will tell you . . .  you are mine.
