LOVE CAN BE
Love can be important to some and to
some mean nothing at all,
It can be something really big or something very small.
Love can be a freshly brewed cup of coffee,
It can be a field of lilies growing wild for everyone to see.
Love can be a baby when it smiles,
It can be mountains that run for miles and miles.
Love can be a memory that creeps in your mind from the past,
It could be the scent of a lover that just didn't last.
Love can be words that leave you wanting more,
It can be the flowers that grow outside your door.
Love can be the reason you get out of bed,
It can be a sports car bright, shiny, and red.
Love can be a day at the beach lying in the sun,
It can be doing whatever you want until the day is done.
Love can be snow on the slopes packed oh so tight,
It can be moving very fast until you spring into flight.
Love can be a breeze that blows through your hair,
It can be a jog down a trail not really going anywhere.
Love can be a place that you go that's just for you and nobody knows,
It can be a place to relax or get a massage from your head to your toes.
Love can be what makes you happy or makes you sad,
It can be what makes you high on life or it can be what makes you mad.
Love can be a kiss under the moonlight,
It can be a touch that tells you everything is alright.
Love can be what fills your soul,
It can be to have one person in your life as your goal.
Love can be up close and personal or from afar,
It can be that you're wishing for love on a star.
Love can be a dream that you want to come true,
It can be one thing to me and another to you.
Love can be for the things that are yours or the things that run free,
It can be that I love you and that you love me.
