WORDS OF LOVE

Love is not just a word that you say.

Love is something that is shown every day.

Anyone can say I love you, but that doesn't mean that's how they feel.

True love will weed out the fakes from the ones that are real.

Those that really care will always be there for you.

Without a word they will show their love by always being true.

Real love doesn't need the words to be spoken.

Some people throw out the words I love you just as a token.

If words of love are all you're for,

You're missing out on what could be so much more.

True words of love are not I love you.

It's an unspoken look in the eyes that says I will do what I have to do.

If you have to say words of love, say that you'll be there whenever they need.

If you have to say words of love, say for their love you would bleed.

If you have to say words of love, say that you will be wherever they are.

If you have to say words of love, say that you will follow whether it's near or far.

Words of love can fade with time.

Words of love can be just words that rhyme.

Words of love can be sweet and tender or soft and dear.

Words of love can be words that someone knows you want to hear.

I've heard these words of love over and over through the years,

And all they've ever led to is lots of pain and many tears.

I've seen the look of love in someone's eyes and let them get away.

I've listened to the words of love and let them stay.

Words of love have always been and will always be.

When you hear those little words, they really set you free.

Words of love can make someone stay, but I can't tell a lie.

Even with words of love, people still say goodbye.

I would trade your words of love just to kiss your lips.

I would trade your words of love for the touch of your fingertips.

I don't want your words of love; I just want your passion coming through.

I don't want your words of love, baby, all I need is you.
