SOMETIMES

 Sometimes you have to close your eyes so see what’s up ahead.

You might have to sleep in the jungle before you find a bed.

Sometimes you have to hear the voices before you understand.

You might have to sail many oceans before you find your own land.

Sometimes you have to walk through the dark before you see the light.

Before you can find peace, you might have to stand and fight.

Sometimes you have to bathe in muddy water before you can smell like a rose.

There are times that you may have to spit to see which way the wind blows.

Sometimes to know what’s real you might have to feel a little pain.

If you want to cleanse your soul, you might have to walk in the rain.

Sometimes you have to walk through the valley before you can go to the mountain top.

There are times that you have to go fast just to learn how to stop.

Sometimes you have to eat a little cheese before you can have some honey from the bees.

You might have to endure a little Hell before you can enjoy a heavenly breeze.

Sometimes you have to drink a little Kool-Aid before you can taste the wine.

You might have to take a step back before you can toe the line.

Sometimes you have to find what’s wrong before you can know what’s right.

There are times that you have to look away to see what’s in sight.

Sometimes to know what you have, you have to lose it all.

Before you can know your place at the top, you may have to fall.

Sometimes you hear a song and the words fit you to a tee.

You might think that these words were meant to set you free.

Sometime you have to see the forest without seeing all the trees.

If you want to taste the honey, you may get stung by some bees.

Sometimes you have to come in the back door if you really want to come in.

There are times you may have to sin if it’s important that you win.

Sometimes you have to take life head on so you can be what you need to be.

Then you can come in through the front door but first you have to find the key.

Sometimes your heart has to be broken before your soul can be complete.

You may have to lose at love before you find someone to keep.

Sometimes to find your way you have to start a new.

There are times a man just gets lucky and finds someone like you.
