WHEN IT'S ALL SAID AND DONE

WHEN IT’S ALL SAID AND DONE

When I wonder if I’ll see tomorrow,
 When things are looking dim,
When the sun is always setting,
When time is looking slim,

Will you be there to hold my hand?
Will you help me find my way?
Will you help me through the night?
Will you help me find the day?

When it’s all over,
When it’s all said and done,
When I can’t find tomorrow,
When I can’t see the sun,

Will you kiss me softly?
Will you hold me tight?
Will you whisper I love you?
Will you be the last thing in my sight?

Flying slow, flying low, flying fast, flying high,
I just don’t know how to say goodbye.
I just don’t want to see you cry
When I reach up to touch the sky.

When I’m reaching for the dark,
When I’m searching for the light,
When I’m looking for forever,
When my soul takes to flight,

Will you take away all my fears?
Will you hide from me your tears?
Will you bring me flowers from time to time?
Will you remember you once were mine?

IN THIS WORLD WHERE NOTHING LAST

IN THIS WORLD WHERE NOTHING LAST

In this world where nothing last
We live for the future and dream of the past.
To live till tomorrow is what we pray.
But if we could, we would go back in time for one special day.

In this world where nothing last
Visions of forever are hard to grasp.
We speak to our Gods searching for a guide,
But in the end all we can do is hang on for the ride.

In this world where nothing last
We go through each day performing our task.
We try to find a reason for our existence,
But there are no answers, only resistance.

In this world where nothing last
We try to hold on but life goes too fast.
It seems like it’s over in the blink of an eye.
I try not to blink but time still passes by.

In this world where nothing last
It seems like our hearts are made of glass.
Whenever words of love are spoken
Our hearts end up forever broken.

In this world where nothing last
We try to keep what we love tight in our grasp.
When holding on to a love there’s something you should know.
Don’t hold on too tight if you want it to grow.

In this world where nothing last
We find ourselves looking for greener grass.
Sometimes life gets to be too tense.
Everything looks better on the other side of the fence.

We search for forever to no avail.
We try to find a way out, but there is no bail.
Everything eventually runs out of gas
In this world where nothing last.

THERE IT IS

THERE IT IS

There it is, I can see it . . . but then it’s gone.
There it is, I can feel it . . . but I could be wrong.
There it is, I can smell it and it lingers so sweet.
There it is, I can taste it and it is such a treat.
There it is, I can hear it, the soft whispers of my name.
There it is, I can sense it as she drives me insane.
