I'm sorry, I'm only human and there are stupid things that we say.

I really don't want to hurt you in any kind of way.

I'm sorry I didn't comfort you when you were in need.

It's just that sometimes you are really hard to read.

I'm sorry but you had rules and I though rules were rules.

I didn't know there were exceptions we could use as tools.

I'm sorry for all the bad things that happened to you over the years.

I wish I could have been there to kiss away all your tears.

I'm sorry that I ever made you feel like you were in second place.

I really want you to understand that's just not the case.

I'm sorry I didn't make you feel like you were the one.

I never wanted to make you feel like you had to run.

I'm sorry my touch didn't make you feel just right.

That when you're with me you just can't see the light.

I'm sorry that being with me makes you want to fight.

That now, you don't even want me in your sight.

I'm sorry that my life isn't what you want it to be.

You know for now, I'm not exactly free.

I'm sorry that I make you so sad and blue.

I know you don't believe that I've always been true.

I'm sorry that seeing me caused confusion on what you need to do.

I'm just afraid that if I'm not there, you'll start seeing someone new.

I'm sorry baby; I know my kiss is not at the top of your list.

I just want my kiss to be something you can't resist.

I'm sorry that things are so complicated for us to have some time.

I want to make your life right so all things will rhyme.

I'm sorry you don't feel that we can still go out.

And for all the things I've done that made you want to shout.

I'm sorry that life has been so unkind.

That in your life justice has been so blind.

I'm sorry that you thought we should be through.

I know I shouldn't have waited so long to say . . . I LOVE YOU.
