Words are the most amazing things you can find.

With words you are only limed by the imagination of your mind.

Words can bring you places that only your mind can see.

When placed in the right order, words can set you free.

Words can be the sunlight glimmering through the trees.

They can be the flowers that want to feed the bees.

Words can be about all the stars that shine high above.

They can be about two people falling in love.

Words can be about a touch that lingers in your mind.

They can be about a kiss that took so long to find.

Words can be about a whisper that you’ve longed to hear.

They can be a memory that brings about a tear.

Words can be about a flower that you stop to smell.

They can be about a time that you stumbled and fell.

Words can be about a time you had to stand tall.

They can be about a grand Mardi Gras ball.

Words can be about a place where you know you belong.

They can be about feelings that would make a great song.

Words can be about lovers walking hand and hand on a sunny day.

They can be about running through the rain as you play.

Words can be about dreams of reaching an unreachable goal.

They can be about a darkness that haunts your soul.

Words can be about birds that fly high in the sky.

They can be about a view from a mountain top that can make you sigh.

Words can be about a long journey to complete a quest.

They can be about a time when life gave you a test.

Words can be about the devil and his evil ways.

They can be about an angel and the words that he prays.

Words can make you happy or words can make you sad.

Words can have great volume and words can make you mad.

So choose your words carefully because words can come alive.

Long after you’re gone your words can still survive.

LOST

LOST

When your soul is lost there’s an emptiness that will consume.

Everything seems to be filled with sorrow and doom.

Without your soul you have no direction, you feel so lost.

You need to get your life back together, no matter the cost.

When your soul is lost there’s an inner fire that no longer burns.

All you see is conspiracies around every turn.

While searching for your soul you think you may never find your way back.

Once your life has been derailed, it’s hard to get back on the track.

Then you feel like you’ve hit rock bottom in a bottomless pit.

You think this is where you belong but there’s no place to sit.

There are passions that just got left behind,

There are desires that you just can’t find.

You feel like you’re lost in a riddle with no answer to be found.

You’re lost in a song with no words and no sound.

Trying to find your soul, you look left, then you look right,

It’s like you’re in a maze with no end in sight.

You try to find solace deep in your mind,

Again you are lost in the dark where no light can shine.

You can feel the presence of the demons that have taken control.

You have to kill the demons and get back your soul.

You walk down a corridor with plenty of doors to see.

Every door is locked and you have no key.

Are there more demons locked behind each door,

Or are there pieces of your sanity locked away forevermore?

Having demons control your life is such an intrusion,

But what if these monsters you see are just an illusion?

What if to open the doors to your salvation didn’t require a key?

What if you just need someone to believe in you and what you want to be?

In a fight with your demons you will never win,

So lock them behind the doors never to be seen again.

It doesn’t matter what you think is down below or what’s up above.

If you want your soul to shine, you have to find someone to love.
