GONE

Some have been lucky enough to have an angel touch their heart.

When that angel is taken by a coward things start falling apart.

In the voids that harbor the whispers of blame,

In the screams that ask why, nothing will be the same.

Never again will the sun rise with a full palette of hue.

Gone is the fresh smell of the morning dew.

Never again will the bird’s songs sound so sweet.

Gone is the sounds of music with their rhythm and beat.

Never again will the wind blow softly through the trees.

Gone is the sweet honey from the bees.

Never again will the flowers bloom so beautiful in spring.

Gone forever is the grass that grows so green.

Never again will the moon love the tide

Gone are the stars that are used as a guide.

Never again will time be your friend.

Gone is the hope that we know how things will end.

Never again will water wash away a coward’s sin.

Gone is any hope of heaven when you chose to begin.

Never again will your mind hide the truth if that’s your goal

Gone is any chance of hiding what you’ve done from the one that knows your soul.

Never again will there be a reason to get up and start.

Gone is the light that guides you through the dark.

Never again will there be a place to hide your fears.

Gone is anyone that cares about your tears.

Never again will the road you travel lead you to salvation.

Gone is any hope of anything but damnation.

Never again will there be a safe place to be.

Gone are places to run and hide because your soul is there for everyone to see.

Right is right and wrong is wrong.

Sometimes it seems like justice can take too long.

Justice is the only thing that can make things right.

Remember this, karma is a bitch that you just can’t fight.

I'll love you in the future as I have in the past.

I'll love you through the riches and being dirt poor.
