I’M NO SUPER HERO
I’m not Superman but be on alert.
I’m not Superman but I have a big S on
my shirt.
I’m not Spiderman but I achieved this
tasked.
I’m not Spiderman but I took his mask.
I’m no super hero; I’m just a man, just
a dad.
I’m no one special, not too good and not
too bad.
Sometimes there are things I don’t
understand, things that make me sad.
Sometimes I see things that make me very
mad.
I’m not Batman but you may want to
escape.
I’m not Batman but I took away his cape.
I’m not Captain America with the red
white and blue to wield.
I’m not Captain America but when push
came to shove, I walked away with his shield.
There are times when life gets me down
and on my cheek you might see a tear.
I try to go through life at an even
speed, but when I need to I can kick it up a gear.
Some think love is a weakness but
there’s something you should hear.
Look at my face, look deep into my eyes
and you will see no fear.
I’m not The Incredible Hulk, I don’t get
large and I don’t turn green.
I’m not The Incredible Hulk but if you
get me angry I will get mean.
I’m not Ironman with a suit of armor on
my back.
I’m not Ironman but I reached in his
chest and pulled out his power pack.
I have no super powers of speed, flying,
or sight.
I’m no super hero but I’ve always fought
for what was right.
I’m no super hero but I’ve been around
the block a time or two.
When I go after something, I don’t stop
till I’m through.
I’m not Daredevil and I won’t keep you
in suspense.
I’m not Daredevil but I cloned his
special sense.
I’m not The Thing made of stone with a
smile that’s cold.
I’m not The Thing but like him I have a
heart of gold.
I’m no super hero, I’m no Robin Hood.
I try to do what’s right; I try to do
some good.
I’m no super hero, I deserve no credit
and I want to blame.
I’m no super hero, but they all know my
name.
